i stayed in one of the mews named borrowdale. the accommodation had a high standard. the team gave a warm welcome, and everything was perfect from start to finish (maybe a bit too perfect).
the breakfast had a varied choice. the quality of the ingredients seemed very good, i must say. however, the breakfast was cold.

the apartment was well kitted out , with two en-suite bedrooms. this gave us extra privacy. the kitchen had a hob , oven , microwave , and dishwasher , which was so convenient. the breakfast was excellent each morning , and i especially enjoyed the convenience of the hotel facilities.
the dinner menu leaned towards fine dining , and i wished there were more basic meal options available , especially for winter stays.

The hotel room was very clean and quite comfortable. Breakfast included a Cumbrian meal that was lovely. I found the staff to be nice and friendly. They were helpful when I had questions. We also ate dinner in the restaurant and the food tasted very good.
I noticed a few flies in the dining room, which I found a bit annoying.

The hotel location is just off the motorway, making it easy to find. I saw stunning views from the bedroom windows. I also noticed a nice seating area around the hotel, providing places to relax outdoors.

The staff provided incredible service during my visit. Every staff member I encountered went the extra mile to assist me. The chambermaids, reception staff and bar staff were all very attentive.

I stayed in a large room that was very lovely. The room included tea and coffee-making facilities, which I used. I noted the comfortable bed provided a restful sleep; it was the comfiest bed ever.

I enjoyed the hotel's beautiful grounds very much! The staff provided excellent service. The food was delicious. The DJ played great music for our daughter's wedding. It was a magical day.
I found that the windows couldn't be opened. This resulted in lots of condensation and a slight damp smell. Otherwise, it was a very nice and neat stay.
